With over 12 years involvement in the Insurance Sector, we have a depth of experience within Actuarial, Claims and Policy processes and Corporate Services (Finance, HR, Procurement and Administrative). This enables our consultants to add value quickly to programmes.
Our work in Insurance has spanned 4 key areas: Regulatory Change, Systems Implementation, Process Improvement and Organisational Design.
- Regulatory Change: Over recent years Regulation and Compliance has become a key driver for change within insurance companies. We have worked with our clients in achieving successful Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. This has included: End User Computing, Operational Risk Assessments and delivering Data Warehouse Solutions to support Financial Reporting requirements (such as FSA revenue reporting). Recently, we have worked on Solvency II impact assessments.
- Systems Implementation: In this more traditional area of change for our clients, we have provided full project lifecycle support covering business analysis, solution design, testing, training, data migration, and project & programme management. We have specific experience in major implementations of General Ledger, Customer Collection and Debtor Management solutions. We have also supported business areas in implementation planning.
- Process Implovement: We have supported our clients in end-to-end Process Re-engineering; KPI Definition and Data Quality Assessment. We have specific experience of pricing processes and data management Improvement. We also have experience of changing processes to enable the move from 3-year to 1-year accounting for London Market Syndicates.
- Organisational Design: Over our 12 years of experience we have helped our clients implement their desired strategies. This has included support to implement Outsourcing (both onshore and offshore) and Centres of Excellence.
